This is just a page where I've added some of the comments that I've received by e-mail over the past year or two. Some classics in here - such as the time someone sent me their resume because he wanted to work for me. Oh how I laughed. Anyways, enjoy! - Rish

"Sarah Schalek"

Thanks for your webpage. It is really helpful.

01091536@... :

i'm using several of your pictures/logos for a college report. if you
have any problems with this reply, if not it should save you written an
extra e-mail...

(Rish: Now that's that cheeky...)

"Jelliot"

Hi Rish, I used to have a store manager by that name... well it was really Risham but he went by rish....(Rish: heh) Anyhow I wanted to say Thank You for all the work you have put into taxter.cjb!! Man I wish I had found that page MONTHS ago!! Please keep it up!! I imagine I'll spend some amount of time there<:-)...

"Golden Cat"

i wanted to let you know what a fine job you have done on your site
it is a clear and informative resource for file sharing clients and networks
aside from just a few mistakes, i am sure your page is help to alot of people...

"Anonymous"

Your site sucks ass. Take it down now.

(Rish: Whoops......how did that get in there)

"Robert"

Your taxter site is superb. The reviews and comparisons are incredibly useful! Thanks

(Rish: Thanks for that. It's unbelievable the amount of people that can't spell TAXSTER. It's T-A-X-S-T-E-R (stop missing the damn 's' out!))

"Jakub Konopásek"

Hello
Your site is great. It helps to lot of people to choose best file sharing program. I just have one suggestion. You say that iMesh is great it only does not have users. So, give it more points and people who will see it will download it.

(Rish: Interesting logic.....but I'm not going to giving a program a high rating as it isn't gonna send masses of users rushing to download their program. I give scores for the here and now - if I don't think a program is gonna be useful to anyone because of the amount of users it has on their network, it isn't going to get a high score because at the end of the day - its the files you people want. Where you get them from isn't an issue.)

"Bryon Poe"

Update at least once a week.  WinMx just got a new version out June 14.  And Morpheus 1.9 was released.  And Winamp is The Coolest mp3 player there is.  And add Blubster to the programs list.

(Rish: Sorry Mr Poe. It won't ever happen again Mr Poe. Don't hit me. Please.)

Troy.Fenton@... :

Great site.  Keep up the good work!

"Mary Frost"

Rish
I am a 51 yo very casual computer user...

(Rish: Wow. The oldest I'd ever picture someone who visited this site is 5. Well........... maybe 6)

"Bryon Poe":

How long has your website been open? How old are you?

(Rish: Ah, it's Mr Poe again. Back with more demands. This time he's getting personal...)

"Joseph Rice"

Hi Rish,

I just wanted to send to a quick note from France to thank you for the hard work and information you put into your website, Taxster.  I have been watching all of the “much to do about nothing” regarding Napster over the last several months, but because I didn’t have the proper equipment (I was still using Win 95 on a PII system), it wasn’t very important.  However, now that I have a decent PC, CDR/DVD, P!!! that was issued to me at work, I have become more interested in sharing files and increasing my music collection.  Your site (and the information you provide) is exactly what I needed in order to understand the issues, terminology, processes, etc.  Thanks…and keep up the great work.  It is very much appreciated.

BSweeneyJr@... :

you're site should be updated every day, then maybe u could have some competition with Zeropaid and Slyck!

(Rish: I'm sure Zeropaid and Slyck aren't run by a single individual who's still at college with exams and TONS of coursework to do...)

"Stephen Barnhill":

Hey Rish,
First thing's first, great site! Keep up the good work,
Taxter has now replaced Zeropaid.com as my No.1 File Sharing site!

(Rish: Wow.)

"Roel":

Nice site, but please change the background.

(Rish: There's just no pleasing some people... ;-)

"Ryan":

Hi. i am interested in your TAXSTER program, but can't find the link on your site to download it. How can i go about getting a copy? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much  (Rish: Errrrrr........hmm)

Dewey0009@... :

i don't understand taxter.
where are the mp3's  (Rish: .....it's not getting better is it?)

"Emma Thurston":

Hi Mate, what would be a good idea to have on your site are addresses and reviews for sound editing software, for ages i have been after something which isn't a demo version or simply crap!!!

Thanks for your site, its great and really helpful

"Greg":

wow cool site
we need more of your kind around
Keep up the good work

"Keith":

Rish,

Just wanted to drop you a line and commend you on your site. It's extremely informative and very well done. I am rather new to the whole file sharing phenomena and found tons of information that I didn't know on there. I'll keep checking it for news and more. Nice job on a great site.

"Altug Kahvecioglu":

Dear Mr. Rish,
I came along with your web site. I would like to use your comments in my web site. I did not see any copyright of your information. However, I appreciate and respect your work and effort. Therefore, I wanted to ask for permission to use some of those information.

PS: My site will be in Turkish. Moreover, I want to let you know that I will not translate your comments word by word.

(Rish: Sure mate, go for it...)

"Cyndi Loza":

You have a great site. Very impressive. It was indeed helpful.

You should be proud of yourself.

(no sarcasm intended)

(Rish: lol! I love the way she added that in)

Peguerofamily@...:

Hey,

I was looking for another so called "Napster".  Thanks to your site I found it.

Thanks again!

"Gary Whittle":

Hello, I was looking at your file sharing reviews page.

I was touched reading about Napster.  Such a shame.  I think other programs should put a remembrance logo somewhere to honour the Great Napster.

"Dan Lewis" (Rish: I liked this one):

I just wanted to thank you for finnaly making a good review of the mp3
sites out there. I have been looking for months for a good napster

"Arlen Greer" (Rish: This is HILARIOUS. You won't believe how much I laughed when I got it. I mean - this guy wanted to work for ME?! Man..............):

I've just visited the Taxster site. I found your Web address while searching
Yahoo, and had a good feeling about there being a potential match.  Please take
a look at the text version of my resume, pasted below.  If you have any need for
a strong application or database developer, I'd appreciate it if you would reply
to this email or call me at (XXX) XXX-XXXX.  I'm a very fast, very skilled
programmer with a ton of references and a large body of existing work available
for demonstration online.  I'm  looking for a full time position, but I also
enjoy taking on contract jobs when they're available, as they always provide an
opportunity for growth.  I look forward to speaking with you.

Thank you,

-Arlen Greer

(Rish: So er..........when can you start? I can't actually offer you any, err,  money but I'm sure we can get to some agreement.... :-D)

"David Beentjes":

Dear Rish,

I was looking for sites that review various kinds of file-sharing programs and found Taxster.com. Your reviews are pretty in-depth and as a developer of a file sharing program myself, I’m very interested in your opinion about our program....
(Rish: Goes on to plug his program...)

Greets,
David Beentjes

Team XoloX

"Julien Petit":

Was the name of your site inspired by the name of my software (Taxee)?

(Rish: What a knob...)

"Rebecca":

Hello :)

I ran into your site just a few minutes ago and I love it. It's great what you've done...

"Dave Gilmore":

Stumbled across your site today (searched for 'file sharing' on yahoo). Excellent site, great info.  I'm a bit of a newbie but you explain stuff really well, Keep up the good work. I'm sure I will be a regular visitor.

"Steve Nevis", Bizdev Officer, Avalist Networks:

Hello Rish,

I checkout your Taxster site, and I support what you are doing.  Like you, we are believers in the p2p technology, and the new paradigm of user-to-user communication and sharing...

"Candice":

Hi!

Thanks for creating this informative site. Although I don't support piracy,
I personally think the RIAA needs to pull its collective head out of its ***
and realize that sharing music files actually increases awareness of music
in general, and will generate more music sales. I know I sure as hell bought
tons of CDs I would never have even considered if I hadn't gotten the music
through Napster. But I digress... Nice work, keep it up. Hope you don't get
bullied and threatened by any huge corporate entities. It can happen...

Take care
